WHAT IS THE DMX LIGHT CONFIGURATION? LECTURES OFFERED WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE STAGE INDUSTRY TRADE FAIR

The Digital Stage Europe is Poland’s only event of this type addressed at the stage industry. The second day of the expo was much more than the offer presented by the exhibitors. The expo guests had the opportunity to participate in free workshops and trainings conducted by well-known specialists in the industry

Intelligent light systems are capable of doing a great job: from controlling the light intensity through colour and tone alteration, directing the light beam for better music reception. Smart systems are capable of displaying a dedicated light show and synchronizing the light presentation with other intelligent devices.

DMX (Digital Multiplex Signal) is a digital communication standard for signal controlling. It operates the lights from the console level - entertainer and theatre - headlights, heads, blenders, stroboscopes, scanners, etc., but also smoke machines and even devices for throwing out confetti are in full control f the system. After the theoretical part, the meeting participants had the opportunity to see DMX works in practice and try their hand at using the system.   

The  Digital Stage Europe  expo started on March 7 and will continue on Saturday,  until 16.00.
