Ponidzie is a truly magical place - gentle mountains and vast meadows abound with Gothic churches and wayside shrines. This is the only place of a kind; this is where nature mingles with art. As one goes from one village to another and follows the shrines route, they encounter hundreds of charming chapels and stand-alone figures. These are a true witness of our struggle. Travellers often stopped over, people said their prayers and pious wishes.  A special exhibition held within the scope of Sacroexpo showcases the shrines cast in beautiful pictures.
