Novelties from Prima Prima showcased at the STOM BLECH
9-11 March 2016 Prima Power once will again join the exhibitors at the Fair of Metal Sheet Processing STOM - BLECH held in Kielce. At this year;s, ninth expo edition the company will present a novelty - the latest-generation of press brake eP2040. Not only does the machine feature new design, but also cutting-edge technology. Compared to its previous model, the press has a larger pressure force as well as higher bending length. In addition to the new Prima Power, the display also include the already-known punching turret with an integrated angular cutter SGe5.
The eP2040 press brake is fast, accurate and efficient; the servo-electric bending solution does not require the use of pneumatic systems. The whole series is based on many-years experience in presses, servo-electric machines construction used for sheet metal processing. The latest machines generation features high performance and reliability, with particular emphasis on environmental protection. It combines power transfer through belt and drive rollers and a flexible compensation technology of CNC bending beam. The new technology translates into increased press force from previous 100 up to 200 tonnes. It also offers increased bending length from 3 to 4 meters. Therefore, compared to the previous model eP 1030, the eP2040 press can work on larger-size details made of sheet metal of greater thickness. It therefore shows a dynamic development of press brakes with servo-electric drives which offers continuous increase of production capacities.
In order to offer perfect bending, the machine has been upgraded with additional features:
• the system of rollers and belts are driven by servo drives for even bending force distribution along the entire length of the upper beam
• beam deflection compensation system CNC guarantees perfect bending accuracy and repeatability in all conditions
The punching turret integrated with the SGe5 angular guillotine is very popular among visitors. Therefore Prima Power has once again resolved to put in show at Targi Kielce. The machine provides a single system for full-size sheet processing; ready-cut details can then be subject of following processes. Today's SGE technology (angle guillotine with a cutter) is widely used industry as an independent production unit with servo-electric drive - this is a central unit in an integrated production and storage system of sheet metal products.
