The first Polish Physicists Congress was held in 1923. Hardly anybody would have imagined back then that the event would advance to become the most important event for the physicists milieus.

This year's Congress is a truly special occasion.  Polish Physical Society celebrates its 95 birthday. 2015 - the International Year of Light marks the centenary of Albert Einstein's General Theory of Relativity.

43 Polish Physicists Congress' programme abounds with lectures on various branches of physics. Not only does the Congress deal with theoretical physics, is also a discussion platform for the research and experiments results. Scientists, in their lectures and presentations, introduce the audiences into experiments procedures, medicine-associated physics, nuclear physics, astrophysics and natural sciences, etc.  The congress programme has been split into the 12 thematic sessions.

Numerous presentations are held simultaneously; thus the Targi Kielce Congress Centre has been the right choice to stage this kind of event. The Congress Centre offers as many as 8 meeting rooms for parallel sessions. The efforts we have put into the conference organisation in Kielce have borne their fruit - says Ms. Małgorzata Wysocka - Kunisz, President of the Kielce branch of the Polish Physical Society.
