ŚWIĘTOKRZYSKIE HYPERTENSIOLOGY DAYS

- Not so long ago the word many people found the word "hypertensiology" difficult to pronounce and understand. Today hypertensiology is widely known as a discipline of medicine which deals with hypertension - the most common cardiovascular disease of the twenty-first century. In our country it affects 10.5 million Poles.  - said Professor  Beata Wożakowska-Kapłon PhD Hab MD, President of the Scientific Committee.

The meeting held in the Targi Kielce's Congress Centre was held under the banner of Świętokrzyskie Hypertensiology Days - it ficussed on modern diagnostic and therapeutic methods in patients with hypertension. The experts' lectures on the secondary hypertension diagnostics, treatment of hypertension in children and adolescents, the latest recommendations of the Polish Society of Hypertension and the specific clinical situations in patients with hypertension - these were the main points on the agenda.  

The Conference was accompanied with exhibition of companies and centres which services and products for hypertension treatment.
