AGREEMENTS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ROBOTS AND 3D PRINTERS FOR SCHOOLS AND KINDERGERS

Programming skills are more and more sought after and desired on the labour market. These skills are worth grasping and enhancing form an early age. All starts with mastering logical thinking capabilities. The question is - how to encourage students? Robots come in aid for teachers and educators - this is the way to learn programming and 3D printing

AGREEMENTS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ROBOTS AND 3D PRINTERS FOR SCHOOLS AND KINDERGERS

Thanks to the agreements signed today by the MAC Group with VERASHAPE and Wonder Polska,  interactive robots designed to learn programming and cutting edge 3D printers will be supplied for Polish schools and kindergartens. The agreements were signed at the Future of Education Congress.  Teachers, the Minister of National Education and Regional Chief Education Officers are amongst the Congress participants.

The MAC Group has been the first to implement Photon's education robot - this happened a year ago and launched a large-scale program designed do provide modern learning tools.

This is another, natural stage of development, and at the same time a concrete proof that we successfully implement modern technologies, also within the framework of the government's Active Whiteboard program. Only in 2017, we alterede over 1,000 schools in Poland by providing over 1200 displays and boards, providing over 2000 devices and delivering over 1000 modern projectors  - says Grzegorz Kowalski, president of the board of the MAC Group. -  Today marks the expansion of our offer to include Dash robots&Dot, 3D printers. This is technological quantum leap.

Contrary to some people’s opinions - robots cannot replace teachers.  However, robots offers a great advantage: they encourage students to interact, play and learn. They also offer an important support for the teacher and their work.  The modern generation of the so-called digital natives was born in the world of new technologies. They spontaneously reacts to such devices and handle them well. By the same token, these devices can be controlled even by the youngest, if they master the simplest rules of programming and commands used in a proper order.

This is a short cut to logical thinking and programming focused education.  All presented in a fun way.

3D printers - an enchanted pencil

Under the agreement signed today between Polish companies - the MAC Group from Kielce and VERASHAPE from Rzeszów - the Kielce publishing house will deliver 3D printers to schools and kindergartens through a nationwide network of educational consultants.

- Classes with students is a dream environment for 3D printers use - says Patryk Tomczyk, member of the MAC Group management board. - Creating a pyramid model for history classes, making flower or human body at biology lessons - these are just examples. The limited of possibilities is limited only by the imagination of students and teachers. We are pleased. Owing to the cooperation we have established  with VERASHAPE, 3D printers stand a chance to reach educational institutions through our network of educational consultants.
