After the official bicycle expo opening the function participants - guests, visitors and exhibitors made a tour over the expo to admire this year's exhibition. The International Fair of Bicycle Industry KIELCE BIKE-EXPO is and Central and Eastern Europe's most important event of its kind.
Kielce Bike-Expo (29.09-01.10) is the whole bike industry's most awaited event. The expo is the presentation stage not only for thousands of bicycles, but also for equipment, accessories and sportswear. The exhibitors showcase new products for the 2017's season. This year's edition facts and figures - 11 thousand square metres of exhibition space, 7 expo halls 244 exhibitors from 11 countries, such as: United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, Finland, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy, Taiwan and China.
The Kielce Bike-Expo is the stage for première products presentations: bikes made of wood, folding bikes, modern vehicles that combine a bike and a scooter, innovative safety systems for cyclist and numerous small accessories such as a super-light pump and a bicycle-rack equipped with a reverse sensor.
The Merida Scultura Superlite LTD - the world's lightest mass-produced bike which weighs only 4.56 kg promises to be this year's trade-show real hit. This low weight of 4,56-kg is owed to production methods of the 680-gram special-forms based frame. It takes up to 14 hours to create the frame; the process requires manual application of 400 carbon layers. The record-breaking model is equipped with Tune Skyline wheels which has been three times used by the Tour de France winner - Chris Froome when in the mountains.
The Kielce cycling festival's programme is complemented with a whole array of compelling accompanying events, and among them Mazovia MTB Marathon, Kielce Bike Expo Marathon held on 1 October 2016. The programme also includes the 2nd Unusual Bike Rally . In addition there will be auctions - bidders can win, inter alia, this year's Tour de Pologne and Tour de Pologne women winners' t-shirts.
The annual Kielce Bike Expo hosts a number of important guests. In the exhibition halls visitors can meet others professional cyclists among them the double bronze medal winner at the Olympic Game - Maja Włoszczowska and the first Poland's professional cyclist - Czeslaw Lang .
