The "Circular economy - solutions for the municipalities in the 2025 perspective" conference is addressed to local governments representatives, science and business milieus, employees of companies and institutions. The meeting will be held on 27 February at Targi Kielce
The event’s objective is to establish a dialogue and exchange experiences in the field of sustainable development and the circular economy. There is an excellent speakers list which includes Professor Jerzy Hausner and Professor Joanna Kulczycka.
The conference relates to various circular economy dimensions. A special emphasis is laid upon green public procurement, selective waste collection, including textiles. The key aspect - i.e. eco-designing products so that they can be re-used is the leitmotif. Awareness building is crucial - the general public needs to know how important it is to close the raw materials loop and create the right economic conditions for products recycling.
The keynote speakers will try to address the following question - what steps should be taken and what economic instruments introduced in order to develop the closed circuit economy. The conference programme can be found here.
