The educational exhibition is much more than the presentation platform for the diversified and multifarious offer of publishing houses or multimedia novelties; this is also a chance to join interesting meetings and lectures.
Following the pervious years’ example, numerous educational institutions familiarise the expo visitors with their educational offer; this is a chance for the future pupils and student to become acquainted with the teaching system and learn about the schools’ advantages. This year’s expo edition features very interesting curricula of the 11th Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński High School, the 10th Józef Wybickieg High School as well as of the PRO-FIL school.
The Pro-Fil school’s efforts have been recognised at this year’s exhibition; the educational centre has been awarded with the Kielce Mayor’s Cup in recognition for the best school presentation of the EDUKACJA expo. Not only has the school generated a growing interest; year after year it has also attracted a great number of young people who dream about profession career in hair-styling. Students learn under the best stylists’ watchful eye and thus acquire expertise and skills. This is also reflected in their attainments at the National Hairstyling Competitions. School students enjoy numerous considerable successes; at the Wadowice Contests they have been ranked third among 100 participants. The school offers the specialised workshop equipped with all kinds of accessories and appliances. This is the venue for the weekly practical sessions in which young stylists can learn about all tricks of the trade; i.e. hair-cutting, dying, styling and modelling.
The real asset of the 11th High School is the set of extended subject curricula in history and social studies, biology and chemistry as well as IT and geography in addition to a wide selection of foreign languages taught at the school, including English, German, Russian and Spanish. If you are a literature and theatre aficionado; this is the school to pursue your passions and join the School Stage Club A TU. The extended IT-curriculum class is supervised by qualified teachers and gives you the chance to earn the ECDL Certificate; the European Computer Driving Licence is recognised in all EU member states. The school also offers the Students’ Inter-School Riffle Club SNIPER; this is the organiser of shooting competitions
and tournaments.
Another interesting offer has been put on display by the 10th Józef Wybickieg High School; it is targeted at sport buffs. The school offers specialised sports classes of football, handball, volleyball and cycling; from the grade 2 onwards students can also make use of extended curricula in biology, chemistry or foreign languages. The school is a member of the Youth Volleyball Academy programme; the scheme is based upon Volleyball Training Centres. The school graduates are the present-day team members of Korona Kielce – Artur Lenartowski, Łukasz Jamróz or Paweł Kal, as well as the volleyball players of Fart Kielce – Adrian Staszewski, Piotr Brodawka and Michał Szumielewicz. The sports-class are held under the auspices of the coach of Plus League’s Effektor Kielce, Mr Dariusz Daszkiewicz.
