CRAFTS URN SHOWCASED AT THE NECROEXPO 2019

The Crafts Urn specialises in ceramic, hand-made urns mady by the most renowned ceramic
artists. Urns on show in June at the NECROEXPO 2019 held in Kielce

The International Funeral and Cemetery Fair NECROEXPO - 2019’s expo is held from 14 to 16 June. The Kielce exhibition and congress centre is the showcase for products and services. And among them the urns from Crafts Urn.  The company's motto is - man who lived beautifully deserves a beautiful farewell. 

The tradition of the farewell to the deceased was associated with the immediate involvement of their relatives and family. It used to be very intimate and personal. The one taking the farewell became the universe centre for all that time. The departure required time, personal effort and often direct, physical work of the deceased person’s relatives.

The Crafts Urn goes back to this tradition. The farewell attitude is individual and personal. The Crafts Urn specialises in ceramic, hand-made urns made by the most renowned ceramic artists. Each urn is unique, made by man for another man. The  farewell token.

The production of each urn takes long hours. The artist spends this time in their workshop; arduous turning, burning off, glazing and grinding processes involved. This requires great attention to every detail.  This concentration is designed to pay homage to another man whose life was equally unique and special.

A particular attention is paid to the glazes - extremely noble and difficult to make. This is the result of a complicated chemical processes. These decor seems to be close to what we can find in nature: frozen flowers on a window pane in winter time, drops of spring rain or primeval forest This is what makes the Crafts Urn special.
