FROM ISLAND STRAIGHT TO KIELCE BIKE-EXPO

In the meeting Kuba Witek will be talking about economical ways to organize a bicycle
trip.

Kuba Witek – a film-maker, lyricist and traveller who comes from Kielce.  Graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in Preston, United Kingdom,  specializing in Music Production.  Kuba has fulfilled one of his travel-dream and cycled around Iceland. Everyday on-the-road hardship and extreme weather conditions were recuperated with the people's kindness and the astonishing views. Kuba shared these impressions in his book "Ring Road - Around Iceland on a Bike". The beautiful yet stark landscapes have been shown in Kuba's pictures.

We spend many hours at work, among people – people both in the real world and in the virtual world. We often feel like escaping.  Feel like travelling to the unknown Rarely can we afford to hit the road. I chose Iceland for my destination. This is not the end of the world, yet far enough. It also differs much from the usual. I like the challenge so I decided to tour over the island on a bike. I have chosen the iconic road number 1. On the road I struggled with my own weaknesses, I met new people, raved about the landscape and the sense of freedom - Kuba Witek writes in the book "Ring Road - Around Iceland on a Bike" . At the Kielce Bike - Expo staged in Targi Kielce the cyclist will tell about his journey to the land of ice and fire.
