The representatives of the Ministry of National Education, the Świętokrzyskie, Voivode, the Świętokrzyskie Province Marshal as well as the Regional Chief Education Officers from all over the country participated in the Targi Kielce début seminar
Educational meetings are a long-established tradition of Targi Kielce. At the inauguration of the Vice President of the Targi Kielce Mrs. Bożena Staniak stressed the importance of the event - We are extremely proud that we can support school principals, teachers, and also students in the process of a substantive and methodical space for education development.
The inauguration commenced with the chess game played by the Senator of the Republic of Poland, Krzysztof Słoń. In his speech, the senator pointed out the importance of technology embracement in modern education. Anna Zawlewska - the Minister of National Education’s address was also read. In her address to the congress guests the Minister thanked for the organisation. Świętokrzyski Voivode Agata Wojtyszek also stressed the importance of technological innovations in education. She also pointed out that schools in Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship which are already involved in innovative projects and use broadband Internet. The Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship Marshal Adam Jarubas talked about the role of institutions’ support for education as well as about projects supported by institutions - Education enthusiasts are needed for education - he added.
Kazimierz Mądzik - Świętokrzyskie Regional Chief Education Officer and Jacek Wołowiec - Director of the Świętokrzyskie In-Service Teacher Training Centre- the event co-organizers unanimously stressed that its importance for both the Świętokrzyskie and the national educational sphere.
The two days’ Future of Education Congress brings together Regional Chief Education Officers, school form-masters and teachers who have the chance to attend the presentations and lectures. The first day focusses on the innovations in teaching. The second is devoted to vocational training.
