More exhibitors from home and abroad, more exhibition space, more cutting-edge machines - the Kielce Exhibition of Metal Processing Technologies STOM 2015, EXPO-SURFACE, CONTROL-STOM, PNEUMATICON are held from 10 to 12 March; the events promise to be hugely impressive.
These events are the showcase for 500 companies; exhibitors come from 9 countries - i.e. Poland, Germany, Turkey, Italy, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Denmark and the Netherlands. The expos feature a whole array of attractions including live presentations of 200 machines - hybrid appliances, plasma and laser cutters complemented with the consecutive edition of the 3D Printing Days with 90 printers on show as well as this year's début - LASER DAY.
Business-sector's frontrunners
In addition to the domestic leaders, the trade show held under the banner of STOM will bring together companies from, inter alia: from Austria, the Netherlands, Spain, Slovakia, Sweden, Germany, Japan, the United States, Britain, Italy and Taiwan and South Korea. Already 6.000 business-insiders have announced their presence at the expo, these are representatives of the following industry branches: construction, automotive, mining, aviation, steel constructions, medical, energy and power engineering, rail transport and agricultural machinery.
Business meetings, seminars and the 3D Printing Days
Within the scope of the CONTROL-STOM Expo there are seminars organized by TQMsoft, on "Implementation of a modern quality-control support system - risks and benefits" as well as "Production monitoring and productivity control tools". This year's EXPO-SURFACE comprises a very important element - the "Modern technologies and appliances for hot-dipping zinc coating" organised under the auspices of the AGH University of Technology in Krakow and Silesia University of Technology.
STOM 2015 will include the fourth edition of B2B match-making meetings organised by the Staropolska Chamber of Industry and Commerce; the institution has already organised dozens of meetings for companies from home and abroad. In previous years the organisers collected favourable feedback from the participants; the meetings had generated an avid interest and resulted in establishment of new commercial relations between companies.
As many as 90 3D printers, including unique items, will be put on display at the upcoming the 3D Printing Days edition - the event staged by the FabLab Kielce. This Europe-scale event has become a permanent fixture at the STOM Expo programme.
The Expo-related technical & scientific seminars also promise to be fascinating. Targi Kielce in conjunction with the Welding Engineering Division of the Warsaw University of Technology have prepared a seminar on "Selected issues of modern welding engineering."An avid interest in laser technology has resulted in creation of the LASER DAY and related thematic seminars. The Metal Laser Processing Research Centre of Kielce University of Technology together with PAN are to hold "Laser processing technologies". And there is much more on the programme:"Laser processing technologies - problems and solutions" is held jointly with the Elamed publishing house.
