LASER TREATMENT IN THE CENTRE OF INTEREST

The re-introduction of the "Laser Processing Technology" conference into the the Laser and Laser Technology Expo Stom-LASER STOM-LASER programme was hitting the bull's eye decision. - The conference room was filled to the very last seat.

The seminar scope included laser and hybrid welding technology, laser-welded joint properties examination with regards to microstructure, toughness, cracking and corrosion resistance,  various  aspects of laser micro-machining  and  the use of fibre lasers for material processing.

Presentations were given by specialists from the Kielce University of Technology, Technical University of Lodz, the Military University of Technology, Jan Kazimierz University, the University of Warmia and Mazury, the Welding Technology Institute in Gliwice, Institute of Fundamental Technological Research of Polish Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery of Polish Academy of Sciences and of the following companies: IPG Photonics, LaserTec, Datacomp, IPG, SLM Solutions, LaserLine, Rofin-Sinar.
