METAL-PRINTED?

New developments from Vadim Plast at the 3D Printing Days

METAL-PRINTED?

The Selective Laser Melting technology allows to produce precise and uniform pieces of metallic materials such as: stainless steel, tool steel, titanium alloys, aluminium alloys, magnesium alloys, cobalt chrome and other metals which can be pulverized. Results of SLM process us can be compared to cast elements with regards density, strength and precision. Layer thickness range from 0.05 to 0.03 mm, pieces' accepted tolerances reaches 0.02 mm and a surface roughness is lower than 20 mu.m. Components made in SLM process always have density of almost 100%, material properties are always consistent and homogeneous.

The printer which uses metal will be put on display at the  The 3D Printing Days - the event which accompanies "Targi Kielce's Industrial Spring" held from 9 to 10 March 2016.
