The "Vocational Education in a Dual System" conference and the 2nd  European Education Forum - New Technologies & Innovations in Education staged in Targi Kielce have been the education discussion forums.

Thursday's conference was devoted to vocational education in Poland. - The labour market has changed.  There is no employer's market, this is an employee's market. Many business lines are already short of professionals. Employers can continue regular business operation because Poland has become an attractive place for foreigners seeking for jobs.  The general thinking that everyone should graduate a higher education institution is a misconception  - reasoned Świętokrzyskie Regional Chief Education Officer Kazimierz Mądzik.

Vocational training in the dual system is a solution to the problem.    Therefore it was extensively discussed at the conference held on Thursday in Targi Kielce.

In addition to the Kielce Regional Chief Education Officer,  Targi Kielce and Świętokrzyskie Voivode  as well as Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Krakow organised the event.  Germany is the country which boasts the world's most acclaimed dual-type vocational education.  - Dual education has been successfully implemented and developed in Germany for many years.  This is a combination of vocational training in a workplace and at schools. This ensures development of well qualified staff - stresses Michael Groß, the Federal Republic of Germany's consul general.

Friday's forum was primarily focused on new technologies and innovations application in education. The speakers presented the opportunities and threats brought about by technological developments.  - The Kielce meeting refers to the Polish teaching's wonderful traditions.  Not always can innovations and new technologies be of good use in the education system, yet many of the latter have successfully been implemented - said Świętokrzyskie Marshal Adam Jarubas.

One of the Friday forum's speakers was Mariusz Zyngier.  Mariusz Zyngier is the only Pole nominated for 2016's Global Teacher Prize, called the Nobel Prize for Teachers.   On daily basis, Mariusz Zyngier teaches vocational curriculum at the  "Jędrusie" AK  School in Połaniec. (Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship).  Passion and inspirations related to teaching were presented in Targi Kielce's Congress Centre.

The II European Education Forum - New Technologies & Innovations in Education  included the first-time presentation of the  MASTER OF MODERN EDUCATION'S LAURELS . There were 83 nominees - schools from all over Poland.  The diplomas and statues were handed to 42 institutions.

Those teachers who are capable of working with young people the way to bring nurture their creativity and passion, care for developing young people's interests are to pay kudos too.
