Education Expo boasts attractions

School of the Future's Laboratory

Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Centre has joined the exhibitors fellowship at the first Expo of Technologies & Equipment for Education held from 5 to 7 October in Targi Kielce.   

 

 The Centre has prepared many attractions for visitors. The 60-square-meter Expo stand will be the stage for an innovative School of the Future's Laboratory.  This will be a truly innovative education space. Experimentation, exploration and educational discoveries made possible thanks to interdisciplinary tasks which encompass new technologies.

 

The Lab uses such advanced tools as projection systems, Internet of things, augmented reality, educational games, programmable robots.

 

The Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Centre project team invites you to visit the stand and try your hand. 

 

PCSS' programme at the Edu-Expo

 Scottie GO  is a multimedia, role-playing educational game which encodes real blocks - comfortable and friendly. These

  • develops children's algorithmic intuition,
  • combine fun with learning,
  • allows to break programming-related barriers and overcome fears,
  • developing critical thinking and teamwork skills,
  • provide an innovative combination of the virtual world with reality;

 Children's task, when in the workshops is to help Scotti in completing all necessary equipment required to launch the rocket. The game helps kids become little experts at algorithms writing.

Scottie Go Workshops last 45 minutes, they are intended for I - II education stage.

 BeCreo is a unique modular kit for designed to learn the basics of programming, robotics, mechatronics. The course is full of challenges; they offer rising difficulty, programming environment which uses virtual blocks and a dozen electronic modules ready to use. They come together like building blocks - you will spend many hours of creative play.

BeCreo Workshops last 60 minutes and are designed for 5th and 6th grade primary school and pre-high school students.
