Municipalities' responsibilities in municipal waste selective collection are the result of the European Parliament and Council Directive 2008/98 / EC regulation of 19 November 2008 on waste. The new regulation has repealed some of the pre-existing directives. As one of the priorities, it defines ways to prepare waste for reuse, recycling and recovery. Selective collect is thus the starting point for the re-use processes. A small-scope directive implementation was realised through the Act of 1 July 2011 amending the Act on maintaining cleanliness and order in municipalities and some other related acts.
The new technologies development and their application in waste selective collection significantly improves the process efficiency and results in costs optimization. Therefore the meeting is a must-attend event for those who want to gain first-hand information on good practices and projects which have already been tested in practice.
After the conference its participants are invited to make a tours over a waste treatment plant in PROMNIK near Kielce.
We look forward to seeing you.
