EKOTECH – the display of novelties which come handy at maintenance and yard-keeping works
The electric-power platform car by Bartesko can be described as highly manoeuvrable; the small-size vehicle quickly reaches its maximum speed. Owing to its features, the vehicle has been extensively utilised in industry, warehouses, at airports and sea-ports, in postal services as well as at railway yards. Not only is this strong and agile; it is also perfect for continuous maintenance works indoor and outdoor. The compact-size car also features a small turning radius so as it is a perfect solution for tight and narrow places.
The vehicle is powered by a single brushless DC motor; three-phase power supply is fed via the inverter which, alongside with the control system is used as electronic commutator. The motor is encapsulated in a shell as to protect it from being influenced by external conditions. A single-motor drive is cheaper when compared with separate engines coupled to two separate wheels, as there are fewer construction elements and less complicated control system.
The brushless DC motor control system makes it possible to be used in a generation mode and thus recover energy at breaking or when going down the hill. The energy recovered in the generation mode is then transformed to DC current through the inverter and then stored in the battery; this increases the vehicle’s range and thus makes the periods between charges longer.
