ŚWIĘTOKRZYSKIE AGRI-BUSINESS CHAMPIONS!

Farmer of the Year Contest Finals, Farmers-Wife Country Club and Agrotourist Farm competition - these have always generated an avid interest. The Farmer of the Year 2015 title and valuable prizes have been awarded to Zdzislaw Baran from Kobylany in the Opatów commune. The first place laurels were presented to Farmers-Wife Country Club from Skorkowie in the Krasocin commune, the Włoszczowa district. The Rybackie Stawy [Fish Farm "Ponds"] from Imielno in Jędrzejów county was pronounced best agri-tourism farm. Marcin and Piotr Suchoń brothers had been attracting lots of interest ever since the beginning of the gala - they organized frying fish live presentations. Table of goodies was a showcase of what their farm produces.

There was attractions galore in the gala, including presentations of modern agricultural equipment - tractors, land cultivation machines, etc. As many as 20 rural housewives country clubs offered regional delicacies. Music band were also playing and singing folk music.

For this one night the Targi Kielce's Expo Hall was turned into a region's folk festival stage.
