The Forum brigs together dozens of specialists

 The Targi Kielce  Congress Centre hosts   the 1st Energy Forum of Radom and Kielce District,   co-organised by   PGE Distribution SA Skarżysko-Kamienna Branch. Representatives of local authorities from the  Świętokrzyskie and Mazowieckie Voivodeships were invited to participate in the Forum. The presentations session has been divided into two thematic blocks, the speakers will be discussing the issues related to, inter alia, the investment in the Skarżysko-Kamienna Branch district - 2013 performance and the plans for 2014-2019 period,   rules of conduct in the event of a large scale black-out   and   street lighting operation. The other panel   will be the discussion forum about power generation and transmission appliances construction,   limitations for investment, new customers connections  and about the CSR activities carried out in PGE Distribution SA

 "The policy-makers have imposed a number of obligations on local governments, Communes are responsible for energy provision, and here we speak not just about electricity. This however has not been followed with financial or organizational support. Thus there is a mismatch between the Municipalities' responsibilities and execution capabilities in the field of energy provision. The law-makers have also imposed certain obligations on the Distribution System Operators, DSO also lack in certain legal and organizational tools to provide support to what we do. Therefore we see the need for joint actions of energy suppliers   and local governments. Today's forum is the first attempt to share knowledge  related to electricity distribution. We hope that this meeting will first and foremost come in aid in getting to know each other, and secondly, it will help us to join forces in implementing the tasks we are obliged to do "  - said the General Director Skarżysko Kamienna Branch of PGE Distribution, Mr. Wojciech Kurek upon Forum opening.
