THE INTERNATIONAL WASTE MANAGEMENT FORUM

The conference speakers list includes lawyers, technologists, companies management representing waste collection and processing industry as well as scientists who boast the business-sector related expertise.  The two-day forum held on February 27 is targeted at local government officials, entrepreneurs and all people interested in proper waste management issues. The Targi Kielce’s conference hall at the fairgrounds is the home for the forum.  

The first day starts with a discussion preceded by Radosław Michalec from Profeko. Waste management monitoring in a commune will be intriduced.  Adam Rogaliński, Kielce City Hall representative’s presentation will follow. Mr. Rogaliński will present the waste management issue in the city of Kielce. Jarosław Roliński will talk about the finance provision possibilities for investments offered by NFOŚiGW. Wiesław Wojdyła from GOAP Poznań will provide thorough insight into the an inter-municipal system of waste collection and the system organisation.   Łukasz Kubisz from AK NOVA will focus on technical audits as a new tool designed to optimize waste management installations’ operations.  Mariusz Rajca will talk about the ten-year experience in auxiliary-sensors supported sorting facilities.  Anna Specht-Schampera, Schampera, Dubis, Zając and Partners Law Firm will talk about tenders related issues. Hanna Zajączkowska from SUEZ Zachód will introduce PPP in waste management. through practical experience perspective.  Hanna Rudolf from Mentor will talk about securing claims.  The next topic discussed at the session is a legal analysis regarding the local governments’ duties regarding seective waste collection.  This will be presented by Maciej Kiełbus from Krystian Ziemski PhD. & Partners Law Firm.  The first day of discussions will conclude with Łukasz Kamiński’s lecture, the APRIVA. representative on waste containers sanitization.

The second day of the 7th International Waste Management Forum abounds with lectures. Maciej Kiełbus from the Krystian Ziemski PhD. & Partners Law Firm will raise the topic of new legal regulations and their impact on the RIPOK business. . Piotr Grabek from AK NOVA will review and assess available technologies for leachate treatment in landfills and sewage process offered by MBP. The regulations implementation with the use of proprietary Quality Management Systems is the topic discussed by that Marcin Jaśko.  Mateusz Grudzina, ZZO Nowy Dwór will cast the light on composting process, and Paweł Karwat from BIO-INDUSTRY will explain the HACCP robustness.  Jacek Chrząstek will introduce Strabag through the perspective of  waste fermentation expressed in numbers.  Responsible development of sorting glass systems from municipal waste facilities with the use of the combined optical separators AUTOSORT laser and AUTOSOR colour will be described by Michał Bula from TOMRA Sorting  The forum culminate with the presentations delivered by Anna Specht-Schampera from the Schampera, Dubis, Zając and Partners law firm. The latest legal regulations and their impact on  "waste installations" operations will be in focus, Wit old Bruzda from the Provincial Environmental Protection Inspectorate will deal with the crimes prosecution in the case environmental regulations are breeched.
