City, mountain, electric, children bikes, scooters which have gained increasing popularity and all you need for bike rides - this and much more showcased in Targi Kielce
Countless two-wheelers at almost every booth; there are real gems. The Merida Scultura Superlite LTD - the world's lightest mass-produced bike of 4.56 kg promises to be this year's trade-show real hit.
- This reduced bike weight allows for really fast and efficient ride, even uphill. You do not have to step on pedals really hard as it is the case with a larger-mass bike - explains Marek Dobrowolski of Merida.
Electric bicycles have been gaining increased popularity. GEOBIKE expo stand is particularly impressive. Carbon frame and rear fork, motor of 1800-2500W power - hard to say whether this is still a bike or a motorcycle. The vehicle's styling may be misleading, pedals are almost invisible with a massive frame.
This year's Kielce bicycle expo graced with Maja Włoszczowska's presence. Twice Olympic games runner-up, gold medal winner in the World Championships MTB elite race and MTB marathon, multiple European vice-champion and champion; Maja Włoszczowska joins Kross Racing Team booth. In Targi Kielce the World Champion will be presenting Kross Level B + Rio bike - the one that helped Włoszczkowska win the silver medal of the 2016's Olympic Games.
In addition to bicycles galore Kielce Expo abounds with clothes and other bike accessories. This Saturday October 1 is the general-public day (non-business insiders), the ticket price is 20 PLN. The exhibition will be open from 10 to 17.
