PLN 64 650 in total raised at the charity pigeons auction held on Sunday in Targi Kielce. The money will be support the Świętokrzyskie Centre for Paediatrics. Buszkowski Hospital in Kielcach, the Educational and Care Centre Skarżysko-Kamienna and IV Secondary School in Kielce
- What is happening here is amazing. I am full of admiration to those breeders who are ready to help others - says Włodzimierz Wielgus, deputy director of the Regional Polyclinical Hospital which includes Świętokrzyskie Paediatrics Centre.
This year’s charity auction accompanied the 49th Regional Carrier Pigeons Exhibition at Targi Kielce resulted in the total of 64 650 PLN. PLN 37 650 will go to the Świętokrzyskie Paediatrics Centre, 10,000 PLN will support the Skarżysko-Kamienna Educational and Care Centre, the IV High School in Kielce will be credited with the account of PLN 15,000. The breeders also decided to offer PLN 2,000 support for their seriously ill colleague.
Mr. Bartłomiej Wróblewski took part the auction took - he emphasizes the reason. Mr Wróblewski bought a pigeon in order to help heal ill children.
The hammer price for this year’s best-selling bird - PLN 1,500.
The weekend in Targi Kielce was marked with the following events: 49. Regional Carrier Pigeons Exhibition / Swietokrzyskie Exhibition of Pedigree Pigeons and Decorative Poultry, Świętokrzyskie Rabbit Exhibition 2500 specimens were presented at the expos.
