ICCSS reinforces its partnership with Ukraine's institutions
The Ukrainian Fire and Technological Safety Union and the Ukraine's Ministry of Health's Sanitary Regulatory Committee have already confirmed their presence at the Ukraine Chemical Security Forum held in Targi Kielce on 18 April 2016 within the scope of the Global Chemical Safety and Security Summit. The Global Chemical Safety and Security Summit and the simultaneously-held CHEM-SAFETY-EXPO Trade-Fair are the world's first initiative of this kind. The events staged from 18 to 20 April will deal with effective and efficient response to chemical disasters and crises.
The Ukraine's Forum constitutes an integral part of the Integrated Chemical Safety and Security Program (ICSSP) in Ukraine.
Polish and Ukrainian partners agreed that chemical safety and security as well as fire protection enhancement in Ukraine require integration with European institutions. The cooperation scheme includes continuous information exchange on chemical safety and security as well as fire-safety in Poland and Ukraine. The list of areas which require special attention will also be drawn. The scheme objective is to provide the Ukrainian partner with the best practices as well as successive promotion of professionalism and skill development of the Ukrainian security services.
ICCSS recommended the Ukrainian partner to implement the Train the Trainers program designed to training for Ukrainian specialised services in the context of chemical and fire risk prevention. The Polish-Ukrainian cooperation is an important element in the implementation of the Association Agreement and Ukraine's expansion to European markets. The International Centre for Chemical Safety and Security is the process incubator through chemical and environmental safety and security enhancement and provision of adequate crisis management guidelines.
Join us in Targi Kielce from on 18 to 20 April 2016.
