On the first day of the SPORT-EXPO, the Świętokrzyskie Volunteer Water Rescue Service WOPR offered a training session targeted at representatives of municipalities; the seminar focussed on organisation and providind rescue services at swimming and pools.  The representatives of Sędziszów and Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski municipalities and companies contracted by municipalities joined the gathering.

- The Association's objective is advise as municipalities on how they should take care of the water safety at local swimming areas and in swimming facilities:   how to select commercially available rescue equipment, which life-guards should pay attention to when on duty - says Piotr Molasy, the president of the Świętokrzyskie Volunteer Water Rescue Service WOPR.  - We educate, advise, try to give directions for municipalities responsible for swimming safety. Some  municipalities try to provide proper protection for their swimming areas and pools. However, some officers do not even realise that regulations changed in 2012... I hope that step-by-step the education level will increase among those responsible for safety. Children and young people need to be borne in mind.  Targi Kielce is a good example - the centre organises the Ice-skating Safety and Safe water sport campaigns.  More than 2,000 participants have already registered for the 2016's edition of  "Safe water sport".

SPORT-EXPO began on Thursday, February 11, and will continue until Saturday, February 13.
