The Global Summit on Chemical Safety and Security accompanied with the Global Chemical Safety and Security Fair which are to be staged in Targi Kielce  from 16 to 18 November 2015  have generated an avid interest among the representatives of the US Departments of State, Departments of Homeland Security, Department of Defense, and the Dow Chemical Co., as well as Greenpeace USA, diplomats and NGO activists.   

The meeting was held late April in Washington DC at the Green Cross International headquarters. The session was moderated by Paul Walker, Director for Environmental Security and Sustainability Green at Green Cross International.

Today, global threats and challenges are increasing in tandem with the globalization and spread of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) industries and materials. - said Paul Walker - This requires unified global action that transcends political and geographic groupings - stressed Mr Walker.

The CHEMSS Summit and CHEMSS Trade Fair - Safety and Security Expo held in Targi  Kielce are perfectly in line with this policy. Mr Michael Luhan - CHEMSS promoted the events in Washington. Mr Luhan is the Global Summit on Chemical Safety and Security CHEMSS and the International Centre for Chemical Safety and Security (ICCSS) head of communications. ICCSS and Targi Kielce are partners in organization the "chemical-safety" projects.

- The Summit will bring together leaders and multi-stakeholder audiences from all over the world, including government policy makers, national and international regulatory bodies, industry - including chemical associations and companies - laboratories, academia, NGOs and independent experts. informs Mr Michael Luhan.

Mr James Markarian, the ICCSS Senior Adviser had a presentation in the meeting, he informed on the Integrated Chemical Safety and Security Program (ICSSP) in Ukraine.
