An active market player - the housing co-operative in the capacity of investor and real estate manager - this is the conference for representatives of housing cooperatives held within the scope of LOKUM EXPO - the first such event in Poland
The conference room was a full house - that was a discussion platform on Polish housing cooperatives' day-to-day issues. One of the discussion topics was the change which enters into force on 1 January 2017 concerning the perpetual usufruct in multifamily buildings which will be transferred into property ownership. Settlement of the land legal status was also discussed - in many cases this is cooperatives' real nightmare which puts their plans on halt.
The main Targi Kielce's conference theme, i.e. effective property management and investment aspects in cooperatives were discussed by Jerzy Jankowski PhD, the Chairman of the Republic of Poland's Housing Cooperatives Association's Audit Committee. Current problems were also addressed; waste disposal in the context of the Ministry of Environmental Protection plans to change the refuse-management laws. Water supply service rent increase was also addressed. The conference accompanied the first LOKUM EXPO - that was also discussion platform for important projects which pertain to Housing Cooperatives Act amendment and the implications for the housing cooperatives. A lecture was delivered by Grzegorz Abramek Housing Cooperatives Union.
